Standing Orders

Standing orders are pre-approved protocols allowing nurses and healthcare personnel to perform certain clinical tasks, without a direct providers order, triggered by an event, such as a diagnosis, lab result, or vitals sign. See sample standing orders below.

HIV & STI Nursing Community of Practice

3rd Friday from 10am- 11am, Monthly

This monthly community of practice doubles as an Association of Nurses in AIDS Care (ANAC) – Cascade Chapter meeting, and is an opportunity for informal, peer-to-peer learning for nurses in HIV and STI prevention and care across the state of Oregon. Each meeting features a check-in, case-based discussion, and conversation about a specific topic of interest as determined by the group.
