Connect with Community Workforce

The Oregon Primary Care Association (OPCA) stewards partnerships with WorkSource Oregon, workforce boards, community colleges, and community-based organizations that specialize in workforce development to strengthen training and employment pathways.

These pathways supports OPCA’s efforts to enhance awareness of job opportunities across both clinical and non-clinical roles, including medical reception, behavioral health, billing, IT, and administrative positions.

Currently, OPCA has:

  • Engaged with 200+ job seekers with many seeking career pathways into health care

  • Connected with 45+ individuals already certified or actively pursuing health care training

  • Engaged numerous non-traditional candidates, supporting career transitions into health care

These efforts demonstrate OPCA’s role in strengthening workforce pipelines and connecting Community Health Centers with a diverse pool of candidates at all stages of their careers.

Recruitment Support

Job Fair Outreach

OPCA supports community health centers with recruitment by engaging directly with job seekers at job fairs, career expos, and workforce events to promote open positions.

Need help reaching job seekers in your region?

OPCA can represent your heath center or join your team at community events. Submit a job fair recruitment request through the form.

Pathways Oregon

OPCA maintains a Workforce Support Directory to help community health centers connect with local and statewide resources that support workforce recruitment, training, and development.

The directory includes community-based organizations and educational programs that offer services such as behavioral health training, ESL programs, interpreter certification, and peer support.
