As we begin National Health Center Week, it is important to remember that health centers do so much more than primary care. Providing comprehensive wrap-around services that address Social Determinants of Health and striving to support the whole person is at the core of their mission.
Wallace Medical Concern, a Community Health Center in Rockwood, OR, is an excellent example of how establishing strong community partnerships can expand access to housing, healthcare, continuing education, and more, creating a healthier society for everyone.
