This position is located in NE Portland. The schedule is typically Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m to 5:00 p.m.
Under the direction of the CMO, the Senior Director of Integrated Health Services is to provide leadership and direction to improve & incorporate Cascadia’s Integrated Health Services into existing systems and resources.
The Senior Director of Integrated Health Services must understand, appreciate, and respect the diversity and cultural differences within our Cascadia community. Partner with CMO and chief of psychiatry in integration of non-LMP licensed care providers
Direct, organize and evaluate activities and services related to agency-wide nursing
Manage, monitor, and evaluate agency-wide pharmacy services in collaboration with Cascadia’s pharmacy team.
Provide oversight to dietician services
Manage and provide oversight to Cascadia’s infection prevention program
Collaborate with stakeholders to both maintain existing and development of new community partnerships
Develop, administer, and monitor budget; review and approve the preparation of the division budgets. Determine needs for additional resources and lead budget implementation. Monitor financial performance and implementation of corrective action as needed.
Assures budget is tracked to target and maintained in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Collaborate with FQHC oversight Team to ensure Cascadia meets the required benchmarks related to FQHC compliance and finance
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Determine staffing requirements, recruit, hire, and train staff in a manner that encourages and maintains diversity and cultural responsiveness.
Establish work plans and priorities for staff members, assess the progress of staff members.
Provide consistent supervision and support for direct reports.
Promote and complete annual employee training requirements on a timely basis.
Demonstrate commitment to continuing professional development.
Provide strategic leadership throughout Cascadia and contribute to strategic initiatives.
Take the initiative in thought leadership, innovation, and creativity.
Create, model, and maintain a work culture that supports and values inclusion, equity, and diversity.
Attend and participate in all meetings as assigned, including but not limited to staff and team meetings, consultations with staff, individual and group supervision.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers to promote quality and efficiency in Cascadia services.
Licensed as an LMP, which includes but not limited to DNP, PharmD, PMHNP, DO, or MD. Some coursework or background in business required. Master’s in business administration (MBA) or related field preferred.
Four years of supervisory/management and business experience.
Five years of progressive professional level experience involving both clinical and business background or senior management experience for two years including oversight of budgetary and operational processes
Experience managing and leading within a complex system made-up of numerous stakeholders, multiple locations, and diverse backgrounds.
Experience working with quality improvement models and tools, health informatics, emergency response, healthcare finance, communications, cultural competency.
proven leadership and managerial skills with the ability to plan, organize, execute, and direct healthcare services.
Specialized Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Expert level knowledge in Epic EHR preferred.
Expert level knowledge in maintaining CLIA waived laboratories preferred.
Knowledge of pharmacology, labs and medical/clinical decision-making best practices preferred.
Knowledge of medical supplies and their maintenance preferred.
Knowledge of public health, epidemiology, healthcare laws and regulations, and policy development preferred.
Excellent ability to collaborate and problem solve.
Demonstrate the competencies to manage the day-to-day operations.
Ability to manage medical and clinical aspects of care for individuals with complex medical and behavioral healthcare needs.
Experience working with vulnerable populations.
Operate computer hardware and software at a level needed to effectively perform job functions.
Proficiency in Health Information Technology, including running reports to enter data and retrieve data to direct primary care operations.
Ability to travel between facilities.
Demonstrate strong interpersonal, organizational, clinical, and decision-making skills.
Supervise a group of professional staff.
Demonstrate a non-reactive management approach.
Ability to build relationships based on trust and an inclusive approach.

Work involves travel within the state. May be frequently off site, in the community, or at various agency sites.
The Senior Director must be able to handle a variable workflow, manage time effectively, prioritize activities, and help managers and supervisors with all aspects of day-to-day functions of the programs.
The Senior Director must have the ability to assist the team in providing safety to all clients and staff in potentially volatile situations.
