Full Oregon Health Plan Benefits Open to People of Any Age or Immigration Status
In 2022, Healthier Oregon opened a pathway to free, full Oregon Health Plan (OHP) coverage to adults ages 19-25 and 55 and older, no matter their immigration status.
We are thrilled that on July 1, 2023, full OHP benefits opened to people of any age or immigration status who meet income and other criteria.
You’ll find links to resources like an Outreach Toolkit and FAQ document on the Healthier Oregon web page.
Full OHP covers services like:
- Medical, dental and mental health care
- Prescriptions and tests
- X-rays and hospital care
- Rides to and from health care appointments
People with disabilities or over age 65 may also qualify for other services and supports, which may include:
- Case management services
- Services to support independent living, such as help with eating, bathing and travel to work.
We know that to achieve better health, OHP members must be able to use their coverage. It’s also important members get care that meets their cultural and language needs. We are working with coordinated care organizations and providers to support these efforts.
