Organization was founded on the belief that that healthcare should be a human right and not a privilege -Established as a 501(c)(3) non-profit, Federally Qualified Health Center, the organization provides care to approximately 5,000 patients with an operating budget of $8M -Services include Primary Care, Dental, Behavioral Health, and Pharmacy -Organization is in a strong financial position with expansion plans that include opening a new health center, adding new service lines, and expanding behavioral health which has doubled in volume over the past two years Benefits and Features -Live and work where others vacation! You’ll have the opportunity be involved in meaningful work providing care to the most vulnerable populations in the community -Start your journey with a new CEO who needs a physician leader to partner with in the organization’s next phase of growth and expansion -Organization is in a strong financial position and is making a tremendous impact in the community -As the organization is going through a period of growth, the timing is great for the CMO to lay a foundation with respect to standardization of processes and adding new service lines -Direct reports include Director of Behavioral Health, Director of Population Health, Director of Dental Services, and 10 medical providers (4 MD/DOs and 5 Nurse Practitioners, and a Certified Midwife -Opportunity to collaborate with senior leaders in the organization and their outsourced billing provider with an eye towards process improvement and provider/staff education -Ability to propose and lead special initiatives (passion projects) that would enhance the organization’s offering to the community. It’s easy to travel when you need to Background Profile -Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience as an MD/DO in an outpatient or hospital environment. Prior, relevant FQHC experience may be desirable -2-5 years’ of leadership experience is valued. For candidates who have limited leadership experience, the organization is willing to provide training management training. Salary range can flex for candidates with more seasoned leadership experience -Board Certification in Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, or Pediatrics -Understanding/experience with writing/implementing policies and procedures, credentialing, and optimization of clinic workflows is valued -Collaborate with the CEO and other senior leaders while being an advocate for the provider teams -Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization |
