Two Bears | Central City Concern

Two Bears, a patient at Central City Concern's Old Town Clinic, tells her story of recovery and how her improved health has impacted her involvement in her native community.

 

 

 


Two Bears introduces herself and talks about the treatment she received from Old Town Clinic for hepatitis C and alcoholism.  Seven years after starting treatment, TwoBear’s hepatitis is undetectable and she has a healthy liver.

 

 

 

 

 

 


The integrated approach to health implemented by Central City Concern keeps TwoBears coming back.  According to Two Bears, total wellness is not reached by only meeting one’s physical needs, but includes a spiritual component as well, something that TwoBears feels she has been able to work on through her experience with Central City Concern.
