Working through our sister organization, Community Health Advocates of Oregon, we have developed a network of over 6,000 individual health care policy advocates. Members of our grassroots network represent health center staff, board members, patients and other community supporters. Advocacy Training Coming! In the spring of 2010, we are launching a new advocacy training program for our members and their boards of directors. In collaboration with the Coalition of Community Health Clinics, we've developed and beta-tested our Introduction to Advocacy training module. We're also making progress on the development of Story Collection training and Advocacy Strategy training. The training initiative is funded by a generous grant from the Northwest Health Foundation.
