The Oregon Primary Care Association, a nonprofit member association, provides advocacy on public policy and assistance to members in order to help decrease health disparities and increase access to comprehensive health care for low income and vulnerable people in Oregon.
About Us
The Oregon Primary Care Association is a non-profit membership organization founded in 1984. OPCA members represent Community Health Centers (also knows as Federally Qualified Health Centers or FQHCs), organizations working towards improving access to health care services for caring individuals.
Since its founding, OPCA has been a voice in Oregon and nationally, for assuring the availability and accessibility of high quality primary care services for low-income and other vulnerable populations. The organization is an advocate for adequate reimbursement for Health Centers and actively represents its members in policy decisions at the state and national level. As a catalyst for improved health care for all Oregonians, OPCA is recognized as an innovative collaborator, seeking new and workable solutions to removing barriers and assuring the long term viability of health care services for Oregon’s most vulnerable people.
